Welcome to our first Arise America newsletter! Some of you may not know that this ministry was originally called Arise Appalachia. However, with the production of my book, I felt that God put it on my heart to change the name of this ministry because God has broadened our focus.

We believe that God is calling us to equip people across this nation who have been called to be part of a new movement of God. This movement involves transforming communities, counties, and companies through the strategy of Kingdom advancement outlined in our book, "God's Dream."

That is why we are excited about this book, "God's Dream: Transformation through Kingdom Advancement." As many of you know, this has been over 20 years in the making. The book tells the inspiring story of what God has done in this community through the ongoing work of faithful united prayer and obedience to God's direction in new Kingdom initiatives.

We hope you will receive your own copy so that you can be encouraged and inspired by the story of what God has done in Huntington over these many years. We have been deeply honored to receive many amazing endorsements from major players in this arena, the most notable being George Otis Jr., who is considered one of the leading experts on community transformation.

George Otis Jr. has informed me that he plans to bring his newest video to Huntington this fall. We will be hosting this premiere at Christ Temple. As soon as I receive a date, I will let you all know so you can reserve that spot on your calendar. George also informed me that he was so moved by my book that he will be promoting it everywhere he goes.

Chuck Lawrence, pastor of Christ Temple Church, has also informed me that he will give a public endorsement to my book at Christ Temple services, and it will also be made available in the Christ Temple bookstore.

We also want to let you know that we are busy working on our 10-course class on “Becoming a Catalytic Agent for Transformation through Kingdom Advancement.” We believe this course will help all those who take it to gain a much stronger foundation in understanding how to facilitate Kingdom-based transformation.

We are also very encouraged that we are working with Ameritas College to develop a much more in-depth program for those who want to understand how to specifically advance the kingdom of God in their specific area of influence. Our focus will primarily be on the seven mountains of culture, as we believe this is a divine strategy that God has given the body of Christ for this time in human history.

We encourage you to join us in praying that God guides this process so that we can provide practical tools to those who are called to make a difference in their sphere of influence.
